C1 Replacement Seats

Here are a few photos of a replacement seat for a C1.   These seats are made by a company called "Wiseguys" and may be purchased from them. www.wiseguys-seats.com, 1-866-4WISEGUY.

I took these pictures at Carlisle.  The seats were installed in a '59 owned by Billy Dawson of "Corvette Correction", a company in Texas that sells C1 conversion frames.  You can also purchase the seats from Billy - call him at: (830) 303-7496 or (830) 305-7496 (mobile).  

The seats are sold without upholstery.  I believe the price is around $600 a pair.  Mounting rails are included and they are adjustable fore-and-aft.  There is also an adjustment for the rake of the seat back.  The seats that I saw had a slight interference with the soft top mounting brackets, but this is something that is supposedly being corrected.  The seating was comfortable with good side support, but I would like a little more lateral support on the bottoms, something that could easily be corrected before covering.
